The past few months we have been immersed in launching a new restaurant brand and website for Glen Ellen Star, opening in the Sonoma Wine Country. This has been a perfect fit for us–as self-described foodies we have been able to unfold the dream of a seasoned chef, Ari, and his wine pedigreed wife, Erinn. Erinn and Meghan have been friends for years growing up together in Sonoma Valley and connecting through our businesses has been a labor of love.
Resembling a quaint farmhouse and invoking the rustic feeling of California wine country, Glen Ellen Star is a taste of both regional and international flavors. The restaurant features wood-fired cooking, all local ingredients from organic farms, homemade ice cream, and if you so desire, a custom-ordered whole lamb for 18 people!
Ari has worked at New York’s Restaurant Daniel, Picholine, and Paul Liebrandt’s Corton, where he served as Chef de Cuisine. He also had a long stint working his magic at The French Laundry in Yountville, CA.
