We were delighted to take on the Local Roots brand after trying their incredible offering of tours. The logo was inspired by passport stamps, as guests travel to different locations trying new foods. We captured the energy and playfulness of the brand with a bright and minimal color palette, a fun tomato icon, and hand-made elements.
We were also excited to reinvigorate the brand with fresh photography intended to capture the Local Roots lifestyle, its destinations and unique feel of each tour. We wanted the visuals to convey the concept behind the food tours – the combination of food, beverage, history, architecture, culture and accessibility. The tours are suited for people of all ages and palates, to which we wanted to convey with bright, colorful and approachable lifestyle photos.
The Local Roots Tour brand refresh was far more than a logo design; we helped breathe new life into this already amazing business. To raise awareness of the brand refresh, we invited select key influencers from around the region to take part in an exclusive tour. As each tour is a truly unique experience for each guest, we set out to create handcrafted, hand-stamped, addressed and delivered invitations to each influencer that reflected the unique experience of the tour itself.
